United GA Entertainment, formerly United Group of Artists, produces events for institutions, organizations and communities across Northeast Georgia and beyond.
Our founders
Mokah Jasmine Johnson and Knowa Johnson lead the company's creative direction, production operations and client relationships. Their work connects live entertainment, event production and community storytelling.
From media roots to live experiences
Our roots in media run deep.
Central Florida beginnings
Mokah founded Chocolate City Live Marketing and Management in central Florida. Knowa joined in 2005, bringing his work as an artist and songwriter to larger live events and the company's DVD magazine.
Building in Athens
In 2012, the pair established United Group of Artists in Athens to support independent artists. The Athens Hip Hop Awards followed in 2013, creating another platform for the city's music community.
A shared stage
That work grew to include the Athens MLK Day Parade & Music Festival and Athens in Harmony. Today, United GA Entertainment brings production, media, talent and coordination together for live events.
How we work
We advance every event in writing: scope, equipment, crew and schedule. On show day the same team executes what was planned.

Universities, municipalities, nonprofits, festivals, corporate programs and community organizations across Georgia.
Where we work
Based in Athens, Georgia, working throughout Northeast Georgia, Metro Atlanta and beyond, including overnight travel when a project calls for it.
